Right To Buy & Help To Buy- HM Gov / Ogilvy

Help the UK Government to introduce a series of new housing schemes to the public.

Help to Buy is a government scheme that aims to help first time buyers and those looking to move home or purchase residential property.  Alongside Help to Buy, other government schemes such as Right to Buy and Shared Ownership, needed explaining and introducing to a new audience. Ogilvy commissioned us to create a series of films to promote the range of initiatives.

The films needed to be accessible and suitable for a broad range of potential new homeowners and audiences. Working closely with the agency and in line with the existing visual collateral, we casted a diverse variety of actors and real employees of the schemes, and featured them in real life settings in. All action in screen was supported by graphics and a strong, visual reinforcement of the brand on screen.

Content was used in television commercials, government websites and social media platforms.

All work had to be approved from the ‘top’ of government and we ¬†were told we had an excited wave of hands…
