Pokerist is one of the most popular games in the world and Kama Games have an audience of approximately 80 million unique users and 1 million daily active users.
Kama Games challenged us to produce a film for its user acquisition campaigns across digital channels.
The concept had to communicate the values of the real, social, fun, free poker game. It also had to support localisation across all markets.

Pokerist® Texas Poker, was named one of the Best Apps by Apple, #1 Top Grossing App on the Apple App Store in 89 countries as well as being in the Top 5 Google Play Grossing Apps in 24 countries. So, we knew we had an engaged and tech savvy audience to play to!
Our creative team developed a highly immersive 360 video concept to put the user at the heart of the experience. Based around a circular poker table with the 360 camera in the middle, we brought together a host of interesting characters around a game of Texas hold’em poker.
Our production team worked closely with the client teams in Ireland and Russia to make sure that production and delivery in time for Christmas was seamless.
A 100% Suffolk-based production, we shot the film at Bruizer, based at Bentwaters Parks, the UK’s largest film and TV production site. We had a bespoke circular poker table made and even managed to include the space suit used in David Bowie’s Black Star video!
