Hello and welcome to my portfolio site, a quick peek at some of my work.
I’ve been working in creative communication and content production for over 25 years. Developing and delivering work for renowned global advertising agencies, broadcasters, brands, artists and everything inbetween. I’ve also founded two successful businesses within the creative sectors.
From pitch winning presentations to world first film shoots, I have honed my craft across a wide range of commercial, broadcast, arts, education and corporate experience. From book design to holographic stage shows, I’ve probably delivered a project in that medium.
I’ve also delivered projects across most media and marketing channels from TV & film, radio, web, digital and social, print and DM, events, out-of-home, experiential and festivals. As well as internal comms and brand guides.
It’s all about teamwork and I was building and working remotely with multi-disciplinary production teams before it became common place. From global product launches with production teams in six continents, to turning youth festivals into digital happenings when covid kicked in. I’ve also been lucky enough to work with some amazing, award winning talent.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Art and Design from the London Institute of Art. I am passionate about helping the next creative generation and I mentor creative students at the Digital and Marketing Association, Big Book Crit. For over six years I have also been Programme Director of two BFI Film Academies.
I am also a musician and compose music. I have had some air play and have been lucky enough to work with Mercury nominated and platinum selling producers and some very talented musicians. I’ve also created sound mixes for commercial clients.
It’s not all about video, but rather than show you endless reams of work, I thought a few quick showreels would give you a flavour, I hope you like the taste.
Head of Creative Content
Helping a weight loss start up, get big!
Head hunted to work for an app based, individualised weight loss programme with endorsements from Shaquille O’Neil and Jamie Heaslip.
Working closely with investors, marketing managers, design teams, and technical writers I conceived and developed highly effective strategies, production workflows and marketing materials for digital and social applications.
Developing and building a brand guide and sub brand, brand assets, packaging and templates, content for the website and community pages, building a social media presence, creating in-depth documentary-styled films with key members, how-to’s, online interviews and UGC, filming celebrity endorsements, creating email marketing, photoshoots, image creation, book publications, you name it, we did it and we did it at speed. Nice to flex the creative muscles.
An impressive 80% increase in sales through the creation of multiple digital campaign initiatives, also featured in mainstream TV, press and publications including the Fast Food 30 book.
Head of Production
Flying the flag for creative independence.
I co-founded a production agency and for 14 years led the creation, development, production and delivery of all creative output . Working across multiple channels and formats, catering to a wide range of clients from global brands, corporations and advertising agencies to world-renowned artists.
Even before it was a ‘thing’ we worked remotely. I recruited, built and mentored local and global multi-disciplinary creative and production teams, nurturing their growth and success whilst streamlining production workflows.
Over the years I have produced pitch winning, number busting, world first work for a client roster including: HM Government, BskyB, Amex, Wiley, Ogilvy & Mather, Dentsu Aegis, Coca Cola, Nokia, Discovery Networks International, Fox Networks, EA Games, GSK, BFI, BP, Random House Publishing, and Festival Republic.
