Alice Whitney

Founder

Alice is one of life’s natural networkers and organisers and she provides the strategic thinking that gets us from A to Z. Alice will often be found with either a coffee or a very healthy juice, happily juggling management accounts in one hand and a creative brief for a FTSE company in the other!

Having graduated from Goldsmiths (Department of Politics, not traditionally creative!), Alice worked in Corporate Account Management with a communications company, working with Financial Services clients such as Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch. During this period, Alice recognised the perils of the corporate workplace and launched a wellbeing consultancy, providing workshops and services in-house for likes of Red Bull, McKinsey and Unilever. Concurrently Alice trained as a coach, specialising in career transition, work performance and coaching creatives.

Alice’s coaching background has been integrated into Creative Nation to enable us to develop a genuine culture of client focus and cooperation alongside an enviable level of energy and creativity.

Alice is also a member of Women in Film & Television and is on the advisory board of Sing! London. She is passionate about cooking, traveling, music, dancing at every opportunity and her cats (but don’t call her a cat lady!).

Alex Jeffery

Founder

Alex is one of life’s natural creatives and provides the invaluable creative direction that makes our work ‘fizz’.   Our clients benefit from his experience across industries and roles as he has invariably ‘been there and done that’.

Having graduated as a sculptor, Alex’s ‘eye’ has traveled across the creative industries. Starting out working with the likes of Henry Moore and Philip King, Alex then moved into working as an art director of music promos for Coldplay, Errol Brown, Sinead O’Conner and many more.

Moving on to being a creative in Adland, Alex worked with clients such as Heinz, V.W. Phaeton and Orange before moving into Business Development in traditional production facilities.

These adventures mean that Alex has a highly developed understanding of what makes creative tick both in the practical (doing) sense and in business terms (making it work!).

Always up for a party, Alex is also a very accomplished guitarist and is currently learning his way around his home-based recording studio, much to the joy of his neighbours. Oh, and he makes a mean meringue!
